How to pack parcels for international shipping

International parcels travel through multiple hands, climates and vehicles. Good packing is essential.

Choose the right box. Use a sturdy corrugated carton that can withstand pressure. Double-wall for heavy items.

Wrap fragile items individually. Bubble wrap each fragile item separately and fill empty spaces with packing material to prevent movement.

Seal it well. Use strong packing tape — not masking tape. The H-tape method (sealing all seams) is best.

Vacuum pack food. For food items, vacuum sealing extends shelf life and prevents leaks and odours.

Label clearly. Ensure the receiver's address is complete and a return address is included.
